Egoli Magic clinched BNL title. They overcame Soweto Panthers in the championship game tonight. Magic outrebounded Panthers 63-40 including a 41-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Panthers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for naturalized Portuguese forward Miguel Ferrao (205-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds. The former international power forward Reece Prinsloo (203-91) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Magic players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Lehlogonolo Tholo (182-92) with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Kabelo Kubayi scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
